Loomi Originals Launches First Hybrid AI Drama, Bring Back Imagination

Kuala Lumpur — 25 August 2026 — Loomi Entertainment Group today announced the launch of Bring Back Imagination, the first hybrid AI drama from Loomi Originals, combining live-action filmmaking with AI-generated characters and worlds.

Bring Back Imagination follows Sean, a young boy who loses his happiness and imagination after the death of his mother. After running away from home, he becomes lost in a mysterious jungle and enters a magical world, guided by his cheerful “best friend.” As Sean confronts his grief and loneliness, he eventually discovers that his friend was a manifestation of his own imagination — a gift nurtured by his late mother and a lasting symbol of her love.

The drama combines live-action storytelling with a fully AI-created magical world, bringing Sean's imagined journey to life beyond the boundaries of physical filmmaking. AI is also used to create some of the characters within this world, allowing real and AI-generated elements to exist together as part of the same story.

“Bring Back Imagination explores what becomes possible when live-action filmmaking and AI come together,” said Ivan Tan, Chief Technology Officer, Loomi Entertainment Group. “AI allows us to build entire worlds and characters from imagination, while live action gives the story its human emotion and authenticity. It opens up a new creative canvas for storytellers.”

The project highlights the potential of hybrid AI drama as a new form of entertainment. By combining real-world performances with fully AI-generated worlds and characters, creators can explore stories, environments and visual concepts that may be difficult or costly to realise through traditional filmmaking.

For Loomi Entertainment Group, Bring Back Imagination represents an early step towards a new model of storytelling, where AI is not simply a production tool, but an integral part of the creative process.

As the first hybrid AI drama from Loomi Originals, Bring Back Imagination demonstrates how technology can expand the boundaries of what can be imagined — and what can ultimately be brought to the screen.

Bring Back Imagination is now available on the Loomi mobile app.
